The Kawasaki Puccetti Racing factory team has signed a contract with rider Jeremy Alcoba, racing in a 4SR suit.
Jeremy Alcoba raced in Moto2 last year and has an impressive career, including a CEV Moto3 championship title and several podium finishes in Moto3.
The Kawasaki Puccetti Racing team has an excellent track record in WorldSSP. Team rider #61 Can Öncü continued to achieve better results throughout the 2024 season. Since the creation of the WorldSSP class in 1999, eleven different riders have won races on various Ninja ZX-6R models. The Kawasaki Puccetti Racing team has been an essential part of Kawasaki's success in the WorldSSP championship for over ten years, achieving many victories and championship titles.
The team chief Manuel Puccetti declared after signing the contract with Jeremy: "We are very pleased to work with the talented young rider Jeremy Alcoba. We believe that with the new Ninja ZX-6R model for 2025, we will achieve very ambitious but also realistic goals and successes."
Jeremy Alcoba first tried out the improved Ninja ZX-6R during a test in November. During this occasion, he said: "First of all, I would like to sincerely thank Puccetti and Kawasaki Racing for giving me this incredible opportunity and believing in me. I understand that this is a significant change because the bikes in the categories I’ve raced in so far are quite different, but this only strengthens my determination to show what I can do. I am committed to giving it my best, not only for myself but also for the team, the fans, and everyone who supports me. I am fully aware that I will be part of the Kawasaki factory team with an outstanding legacy, holding many records in terms of victories and championships. To have such a strong brand like Kawasaki behind me, with its history and potential, is an honor. I am sure that together we can do great things, and I can't wait to show what we can achieve on the track. My goal is to quickly adapt, reach the limits of my abilities, and deliver performances that the fans will remember. Hard work starts now, and I’m ready for it."
