Jack Kennedy, wearing a 4SR racing suit, won the BSB 2024
Jack Kennedy finished the season in style by securing the final victory in the Supersport category at the Brands Hatch circuit. After achieving his fifth British Supersport title the day before, Kennedy demonstrated his dominance in the final race as well. Kennedy took the lead from the start of the race, and rode to the victory line with an unattackable lead.
4SR rider Jack Kennedy spoke about the weekend race
and his British Superbike title victory as follows:
"The whole weekend was like a dream. I have no words! I didn't expect this at all today. I really didn't think I could do it. The championship is very tight, and I thought it was impossible for Ben (Ben Currie) or Luke (Luke Jones) not to finish in the top three. I think it all started with qualifying, making the right decisions at the right time. For most of the weekend, we were making tire decisions considering the weather. In the race, we bravely chose wet tires, even though the rain wasn't that strong when we were heading to the starting grid. It all depends on those little last-minute decisions and how quickly you can make changes. On the grid, I was shouting with joy in my helmet because I knew we made the right choice, and the rain was getting heavier. I felt I was having a safe race, and the lead kept growing, which is always a great feeling. For that, I want to thank my team especially. Thanks to them, I can hit the track and show everyone I can run a great race. Without a team like Honda Racing UK, I wouldn't be able to do it."
"After securing the fifth title, I felt like I had wings and wanted to finish the season in the best possible way. In the second race of the weekend, I felt fantastic on the track and knew I had what it takes to win. The team did a great job, and the support from the fans was incredible.
