Hayden Gillim #69 - 2023 MotoAmerica Steel Commander Stock 1000 Champion
Hayden Gillim #64 riding for Disrupt Racing (Suzuki GSX-R1000R) marked his name in golden letters at this year's MotoAmerica 2023 race series. With two victories at the COTA circuit in Texas, earned 50 final points and became the overall winner of the Steel Commander Stock 1000 class.
Let's hope that Hayden's victorious campaign doesn't end with the championship title in the Stock 1000 only. From September 22 to 24, he will try to sieze the title in the King of the Baggers category on the Harley-Davidson Road Glide #79 (Vance & Hines/Mission/Harley-Davidson) at the races in New Jersey. He is currently leading the standings with 215 points, ahead of second-placed James Rispoli #43 (Harley-Davidson Road Glide) with 213 points, another the 4SR factory rider.
King Of The Baggers appeard as a successful class for a few other riders clad in 4SR suits. Jake Lewis #85 (Harley-Davidson Road Glide) secured the 6th place in the overall standings thanks to fifth and sixth-place finishes. Cory West #13 (Harley-Davidson Road Glide) did not finish either of the races, and he currently holds the 10th position in the overall standings. Valuable points for the series were collected this time by Max Flinders #89 (Indian Challenger), as his fifth and seventh-place finishes moved him up to the 12th position in the overall standings. Not a single woman competing in this category was left out, Patricia Fernandez-West #87 (Harley-Davidson Road Glide) secured the 14th position in the overall standings with a tenth and eleventh-place finish.
Patricia Fernandez-West #87 finished fourteenth and fifteenth in the Super Hooligan category on the Harley-Davidson Pan America, which moved her up to the 28th position in the championship.
In the Superbike class, Max Flinders #88 from the Thrashed Bike Racing team (Yamaha YZF-R1) earned points for tenth and eleventh place, currently holding the 11th position in the overall standings.
The next races of the MotoAmerica 2023 series will take place from September 22 to 24, 2023, at the New Jersey Motorsports Park circuit.
