How should a leather suit fit properly?

Small details make a big difference...

The design of all 4SR moto suits is based on years of experience from racing circuits, numerous falls, and feedback we receive from professional racers. These valuable insights are applied to the final products for our customers. And since we aim to produce only top-functional suits, all our moto suits are identical. That's why we don't have different equipment and price ranges for production suits. One that works is better. Simply the same quality for everyone.

WRIST: SOFT, THIN, AND SHORT

That's exactly how a wrist should correctly look on a sport suit. Therefore, the sleeve on 4SR suits is always shorter and ends with a thin cuff made of aramid stretch. Such a finish allows free wrist movement, and as you surely know, it's the wrist that controls the motorcycle

FLEX PANEL ABOVE THE KNEE PROTECTOR

Above the knee protector, one of the flexible panels (leather accordion) is sewn in. In a standing position, this panel is contracted. When sitting on the motorcycle, the panel stretches so that the knee protector can always be in the right position and the knee bend is as comfortable as possible. Movement without restrictions is the basis for safe and fast riding.

ERGONOMICALLY SHAPED KNEE

The perfect shape of the suit's knee, besides comfortable riding, ensures the protector's fixation during movement and in case of a fall. For this reason, the pant leg consists of several segments. The leather part, which is shaped according to the knee, and the flexible, aramid stretch in the back part of the pant leg ensure flexibility.

BACK FLEX PANEL

The largest flex panel on the 4SR suit is located in the waist area. It allows easy leaning on the motorcycle, as it can stretch almost to double its length. Also, when transferring weight and quickly switching the motorcycle's direction, the lumbar flex panel and its function are crucial for a sense of freedom and full range of movement.

LEG LENGTH

The motorcycle suit belongs in the boots, so the pant legs must be as short as possible, and the bottom hem should be as narrow as possible to not press in the motorcycle boots. The correct length of the pant legs can easily be checked in the riding position on the motorcycle

STRETCH IN THE GROIN AREA

To properly control the motorcycle, it's necessary to transfer weight. An example of a basic movement is sitting out into a turn, and that's why an elastic material is used in the crotch area. However, this part must not be made from multiple pieces, as the connecting seams would limit the rider's movement. To ensure movement in any direction is not limited by seams, we use one large piece of aramid stretch. Thanks to the seamless design, movement and weight transfer on the motorcycle is a true joy.

SHAPED BODY, SLEEVES, PANT LEGS, AND SHOULDERS

The suit's cut is ergonomically adapted for the position on the motorcycle, and therefore, the pant legs, body, sleeves, and even shoulders are pre-shaped. That's why you will always feel best behind the handlebars in your suit.
